THE MURAL OF HETMAN BRANICKI IN BIAŁYSTOK

The Pro Anima Foundation unveils a new dimension of urban art to the residents of Białystok, presenting the interactive mural of Hetman Jan Klemens Branicki under the motto "It grows with what you pay attention to." The artwork, solemnly unveiled in May 2022 on Antoniukowska Street 48, pays tribute to an outstanding historical figure, celebrating the 250th anniversary of his death through collaboration with local businesses and community involvement.

With pride, the Pro Anima Foundation presents the interactive mural of Hetman Jan Klemens Branicki in the heart of Białystok! This extraordinary piece of art has been placed on the facade of a building on Antoniukowska Street 48 and was solemnly unveiled in May 2022.

As the initiator of the project, the Pro Anima Foundation not only initiated the creation of this unique mural but also secured funding in collaboration with local businesses. Then, acting as a coordinator, we meticulously supervised the entire process of realizing this unique endeavor. Our efforts were aimed at paying tribute to Hetman Branicki on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of his death.

The mural portrays Hetman Branicki in an innovative way, emphasizing his modernity while nurturing tradition. As a great businessman, culture and art enthusiast, and guardian of his subjects, the Hetman deserves a special place in history. Presenting this multi-dimensional figure is not only an interesting look at the past but also an inspiration for contemporary young people.

The mural, with impressive dimensions of 11 x 17 meters, was created in collaboration with a renowned design studio, and the execution of the mural was entrusted to leading companies specializing in professional design and execution of large-format commissioned paintings.

The unveiling of the mural became a media event, attracting the attention of over 30 journalists from major regional and national media outlets, such as PAP, TVN, PolskaPress, Onet, Agora, RMF FM, Eska, Radio Białystok, Wrota Podlasia, and many others. Information about the mural with Hetman Branicki appeared nearly 100 times in traditional and online media throughout Poland.

Additionally, we invite you to watch a documentary film documenting the unveiling ceremony of the mural, in which the residents of Białystok share their impressions of this unique work of art. It is a unique combination of history, art, and modernity that serves as a special ornament to our city.
